As a way to give back, and go completely off topic, I’m sharing 30 unique sites that I believe are worth visiting in the coming month of April. I’m not partnered with, nor do I have any kind of personal relationship with any of the site owners. They’re simply a wide variety of topics, styles and subjects that I’ve taken the time to wade through, and pull out some of my personal favorites that I visit to gain inspiration and insight. How you choose to go through them is entirely up to you, but my personal recommendation, unless have the time, would be to visit one site a day, every day, for the month of April. If you’re like me, and enjoy constantly learning and discovery, then this list below will help you jump start your discovery next month. It’s my way to say ‘thank you’ for reading over the past two months and pass on some additional reading material that you may enjoy. Feel free to add your favorite sites that you enjoy visiting and I’ll be sure to add these to the future recommendations.

Regardless of how innovative TVs or sound systems become there’s still something to be said for going to the movies. While I personally enjoy the experience of Cinetopia, despite the fact they’re not a partner, I know they’re mainly a local option. For others, going to the movies means waiting in lines to get your tickets, waiting in lines to get your snacks, waiting in lines to hit the restroom and then waiting in lines to get into the actual theater room. What if you could eliminate one of those lines, probably the longest of them all, and possibly even save a few bucks in the process? That’s what purchasing tickets through Fandango helps with, save time and eliminate waiting in line for tickets at the theater.
There’s a site that aligns with exactly what this site promotes helping you look smart, eat smart and spend smart with an emphasis on helping you save time. It’s hard to overlook Costco and their wholesale pricing, but as one site reminds you there’s a million reasons to shop elsewhere. In order to switch from your local warehouse club, you have to be getting the same great prices, but accomplish this in less time, using less resources and cause yourself less stress. The average trip to the local warehouse club takes over 180 minutes on top of the fact you have to have a membership in order to save money. I’m very pleased to introduce the site Boxed and share with you why you can eliminate your Costco membership by using them.
Since 9/11, and TSA expanding their security, it’s caused a number of changes in how a traveler has to prepare and plan to travel when flying. Even if you carry everything on you still have to plan for getting through security, taking your laptop out, your toiletries out, your shoes and belt off and then wade through the funnel hoping the person in front of you doesn’t trip the system. If you have to check a bag, print or change a boarding pass, and you’re not a preferred a-lister with the particular airline, it’s going to take you anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour to get through the line only to have to go through security. Needless to say, it’s a completely inefficient way to travel that causes you to add at least 30 mintues to an hour onto the time you really need to get to the airport. If you decide to cut things close, and security is moving slow, you’re screwed. What if there was a different way? What if I told you for only $85 to $100 you could get a 5-year express pass through security that would cut your time from 30 minutes to 5 minutes, would you do it?
At this point, you’re probably well aware of my love for in-store pickup and how often I try to save time from doing my physical shopping inside a store. You can read all about the various partners and companies I use to help me save time shopping. Today I’d like to feature a new company that I recently discovered has in-store pickup that could help make your shoe buying experience take less than a weekend afternoon or weekday evening. I can understand the reluctancy to purchase a pair of shoes online if they don’t have a great return policy with accompanying free return shipping. What if you could reserve those shoes with in-store pickup instead? Would you be more likely to purchase them through an online retailer? That’s exactly what Footaction offers with their in-store pickup that we’ll be discussing today.
